McAfee has shuffled its management pack announcing a fresh face to run its UK and Ireland operation just days after its former country head turned up at CA Technologies.

Ross Allen, vice president for Canada and Northeast United States, is being moved to run the UK and will be based here. His appointment comes days after former head Jacqueline de Rojas turned up at CA.

Allen will report into the EMEA president Gert-Jan Schenk and will be responsible for a brief to grow the business and develop stronger partnerships with the channel.

Allen comes with a successful record of growing revenue in his formere territory and will be expected to show a similar performance here.

"With the threat landscape becoming ever more complex, governments, businesses and consumers alike are faced with the constant challenge of keeping themselves and their data safe." said Allen.

"I am looking forward to getting involved in the UK and Irish markets, driving sales, working closely with our customers and, most importantly, ensuring we provide secure environments for our customers to live and work in," he added.
