HP is to help its partners grab a chunk of the cloud market, announcing the upcoming launch of its HP PartnerONE cloud specialisation and collaboration programme, and the extension of ServiceONE offerings to help VARs improve their sales reach and time to market.
HP used its Global Partner Conference, currently underway in Las Vegas, to talk about the enhancements to its programme, which it claims will create opportunities for partners to deliver "superior" cloud solutions by aligning more closely with the vendor.
The programme will get its formal launch on 1 November, but training and enablement elements are already open to partners, said HP.
It will include a Cloud Builder Specialist badge for VARs with expertise based around solutions such as HP's CloudSystem, and a new feature called HP Interchange, a lonely hearts network to pair up resellers with specific cloud abilities.
The vendor will also be offering financial incentives for resellers to secure successful sales for HP CloudAgile service providers.
