Syscap appoints Asset Works to track public sector IT

Syscap is aiming to prod education and public sector clients sitting on out-of-date technology into investing in kit through a partnership with the Asset Works.

The channel finance specialist has appointed the Asset Works to help it deliver verification and management tools for those customers trying to keep on top of their IT estate.

Phillip White, Chief Executive at Syscap, said that the technology provided by The Asset Works would give those resellers that workd with the finance specialist greater visibility of equipment.

"Having a better grasp on ICT equipment will help our clients save money and ensure that their IT equipment is fully up to date. In these difficult economic times it is crucial that we look for ways to provide our clients with efficient money-saving devices," he said.

In response, David de Silva, director and co-founder at The Asset Works, said that it would provide modofied versions of its software to Syscap specifically targeting government and education customers and as a result would give it a chance to work in new business sectors.
