Computer 2000 has bid farewell to its Basingstoke home of 18 years, moving a mile up the road to new facilities at Chineham Park.

The removal men were in at the weekend to move the firm's operations lock, stock and barrel to its new premises, which promise extra space, an "improved working environment" and "better facilities" for staff and partners.

Among other things, C2000's new home boasts extra meeting and conference rooms, as well as larger demo, presentation and training facilities, allowing it to ramp up its reseller enablement activities.

C2000 UK and Ireland managing director Peter Hubbard said: "Our strategy is built around sustainable growth and we needed better-quality offices to support those plans.

"We wanted to stay within Basingstoke to make [the] move easier for our staff. We also wanted somewhere that would be a great place for us to take our customers and partners," he added.
