The computer industry can be a fairly profitable place - just ask Bill Gates and Larry Ellison - for those at the top of the software tree.
Gates and Ellison both feature in the top ten of the latest Forbes rich list with the former boss at Microsoft worth $61bn (£38.6bn) and the current head honcho at Oracle Ellison just a few rankings behind with $36bn.
Steve Ballmer (pictured), the current CEO of Microsoft, has a way to go to catch his old working mate but he can console himself with funds of $15.7bn.
Other names with a technology connection crop up further down the list with Sergey Brin and his co-founder of Google Larry Page coming in at joint 24th place with a personal fortune of $18.7bn each.
