Azlan is to launch a range of pre-defined Cisco bundles built around wireless access and routing technology to help partners get to grips with cusomters exploring BYOD policies in corporate and public sector environments.
The distie said that with sales of smartphones and tablets set to overtake PCs, and mobile data traffic seeing a CAGR of 78%, it was responding to growing pressure on end-user IT departments to add some sort of BYOD strategy.
Two different bundles will include five access licenses to support up to 100 users, with one comprising a more basic set-up and the other including firewall features. Azlan said it planned to add new packs to address larger BYOD requirements in due course.
It is also adding extra support to encourage service development around the starter packs, as well as marketing collateral and a series of BYOD-centric Webexes.
"Organisations are having to face up to the technical, security and compliance challenges that BYOD brings, and they need to do that right now," explained Azlan Cisco Business Unit director Mark Wheeler.
"Our BYOD programme gives resllers a set of pre-defined options that they can take to customers immediately," he added.
