CA Technologies has brought on board a former Thales executive with experience of big projects
including the national identity card scheme to handle its security business.
The vendor has appointed Paul Jackson as head of its UK and Ireland security business with a remit
to not only grow the business but to be quicker in responding to the threats being faced by
users.
In his time at Thales Jackson also had experience working for the Ministry of Defence with
its cyber security plans making him an appointment with a wide variety of experience.
"We intend to extend our reach through partners to enable us to respond effectively to customers'
complex business security challenges. And Paul's expertise in the IT security space will help
deliver a consistently rewarding customer experience," said CA Technologies vice president and
general manager UK and Ireland Jacqueline de Rojas.
In response Jackson said that users were struggling with providing greater flexibility securely and
CA had the product portfolio to meet those challenges
