License Dashboard has rolled out a series of enhancements to its main software asset management (SAM) product to arm resellers selloing Microsoft Enterprise Agreements with more functionality.
The changes to the License Manager product are being given to the channel before the next full upgrade becomes available to the public.
Microsoft Enterprise licensing can be complex and difficult for resellers to manage on behalf of customers with traditionally a portion of the process of keeping track of the assets being a manual one.
Matt Fisher, License Dashboard's sales and marketing director, said that it had consulted with both resellers and customers and would now have more support for Microsoft licenses in its dashboard making it clearer what was being used and what needed to be paid for.
"We are definitely seeing a customer driven demand driving reseller behaviour as the users want greater visibility of licences," he said.
