ZyXEL finance scheme targets SME channel sales

Alex Scroxton

Networking hardware specialist ZyXEL has launched a new financing scheme called ZyCAP to target channel deals worth between £5,000 and £200,000.

The financing will cover any products from ZyXEL’s ranges of managed and unmanaged switches, dual-band wireless access points, network security appliances and Powerline adapters.

As an additional incentive, securing two financed deals of £5,000 or more during the course of a year will qualify resellers to move up a tier in ZyXEL’s partner programme, securing additional product discount and vendor services.

The firm hopes to see uptake among both SMEs and smaller public sector customers, said UK channel chief Antony Byford.

“We have become aware that there are many schools, hotels, leisure centres, doctors’ surgeries and small businesses that need to upgrade their networking, wireless and security but just don’t have the funding,” he explained.

End-users sourcing new networking hardware solutions through ZyXEL’s channel will get three years interest free credit on the purchase, and once the lease term has expired, the option to keep the equipment for a 1% deal fee, or upgrade to something newer.
