Services revenues continue to grow at Computacenter with the channel player revealing it has garnered double digit growth on that side of the business in the first six months of this year.
The firm gained 14% services revenue growth in the UK in the six months to 30 June with overall turnover rising by 5% across all operations.
The margins on the supply chain side of the business remain weaker, and there was only 1% growth in UK revenues on that side of operations.
For the company as a whole revenue for the first half climbed by 4% with services increasing by 12%.
There was a warning that since the last trading update the extent of the costs of developing the services side of the business had become clearer and there would be an impact on the bottom line for the 2012 fiscal year.
"However, the board believes that this incremental cost, which remains in line with our statement of 14 June 2012, will help secure Computacenter's long term growth potential and enhance the quality of earnings," the firm stated.
Germany remains a solid performer with revenues growing by 7% and France also contributed with a 9% increase in the first half of the year.
