Telecommunications solutions provider Chess, which announced a flurry of acquisitions earlier this year, has completed its purchases of Essex based Cable Telecommunications Limited and the maintenance arm of Pink Telecom.

Chess has been busy buying up firms in a bid to extend its network of telecommunications coverage as well as backing that up with a greater depth of networking services support.

Already this year it has snapped up Supply Communications, Rely Telecom and Deep Blue Networks.

David Pollock, Chief Executive at Chess, commented “We’re delighted with the acquisition of Pinks maintenance base and Cable Telecommunications as they’re a great strategic fit with our business.”

Peter Southgate, director at Cable Telecommunications, said that Chess has a well-founded reputation in the acquisition space and tje tie-up would be a good move for the firm.

The acquisitions will add approximately £2.4 million of annual turnover and more than 1,000 customers to Chess.

“We’ve an ever-growing pipeline of potential acquisitions.” Commented Richard Btesh, Director at Chess, “We’re always ready to move quickly and have the cash and experience to support the process. If you’re looking to cash out and hit the beach, give us a call.”
