Ctrack looks to channel to drive growth

Vehicle tracking technology specialist Ctrack has decided that the time is right to build a channel proposition to get resellers to start selling its products

The channel could find itself selling into the haulage market after one of the specialists in the vehicle tracking market has announced plans to recruit resellers.

Ctrack has handed the task of establishing a network of resellers to Richard Lane, who has previous experience at Masternaut as well as running his own channel business selling into corporates and consumers.

The market for tracking and telematics is one that the channel could have a role in because of the increasingly technical nature of the products.

Lane said that it had set up a channel team specifically to support its ambitions and would underpin the reseller recruitment with the required levels of techical assistance.

John Wisdom, managing director of Ctrack in the UK and Ireland, said that the channel was key to its expansion plans.

“Our strategy moving forward is to extend the reach and support available to vehicle operators by establishing our partner and reseller network," he said.
