NetSuite targets Sage resellers

NetSuite has unveiled a campaign to target Sage's resellers offering 50% margins to those that sell its cloud offering.

This marks the third attack NetSuite has launched on its rival this year after targeting both customers and its rival's staff in previous initiatives.

The cloud campaign hands Sage resellers that sell NetSuite's cloud solution, which includes accounting, ERP and CRM with 50% of the revenue for the first year. To get it's rivals resellers on board it is also hosting an online event to outline the case for cloud.

"NetSuite solution provider programme and our recently launched SuiteCloud developer network give Sage partners valuable resources they need to succeed today and position them well for ongoing success," said Craig West, vice president of channel sales at NetSuite.

In conjunction with the 50% margin offer the vendor is also holding a web seminar on 20 August to outline how resellers can start selling cloud based applications.

When asked earlier this week on a Twitter chat session when the online applications would be ready the UK managing director of Sage Paul Stobart said that it was working to ensure the product was right before it hit the market.

In terms of responding directly to the latest NetSuite campaign Sage did not want to comment.
