Webroot hands distribution contract to CDG

Security-as-a-service specialise Webroot has selected software and services distie CDG to develop sales of its cloud-based endpoint protection product SecureAnywhere.

Besides the SecureAnywhere line – which allows customers to quickly gather critical collective endpoint data and provides real-time threat intelligence – CDG will have access to the rest of the vendor’s portfolio.

CDG commercial director Chris Patton said Webroot’s products matched well with its own strategy to “provide channel partners with only best-in-class products which fit their individual end-users’ needs.”

“In Webroot we see a partnership built on the same values, with a clear emphasis on innovation and enterprise, and look forward to building on this in the UK,” he said.

“We are always exploring new market segments and open to acquiring new channel partners who are committed to delivering excellent solutions and support services to their customers,” said Jeff Santelices, vice president of Webroot Worldwide Demand Fulfillment.

“CDG closely fits our model of strategic partnership at Webroot. Not only do they have extensive, market-leading experience of the security solutions market, their innovation distribution approach matches Webroot’s strong customer focus and product offerings.”
