Computer 2000's consumer electronics Triade business has recruited a former Comet executive to join its retail management team.
Gavin Lillington, who was until recently the category manager for
accessories at Comet, has a 17 year background in the retail industry, and becomes business unit
manager at its Philips and TP Vision unit.
Lillington will take on the role of growing the Philips and TP Vision sales as well as other projects connected with growing the consumer electronics business.
Jo-anne Foreman, director of Triade UK, said that it had plans to increase the business that came through the consumer electronics side of the business.
Lillington added that he was aiming to start by building and developing its third-party logistics business.
