Panasonic Computer Product Solutions is marking the end of the first year of its partner programme by making a series of investments after the channel helped it gain market share.
The vendor's Toughbook Engage partner programme has seen the vendor recruit three distributors, SDG, Avnet and Centerprise 165 registered partners and develop six premier partners in the space of 12 months.
The firm has also seen its business in the rugged notebook division climb from 35% being fulfilled by resellers to the current 70%, with expectations that figure will rise.
The latest enhancements to the programme involve providing more education to resellers to help them get certified and the launch of a two-day European channel event.
Sophie Nicolay, European channel marketing manager at Panasonic Computer Product Solutions, said that working strategically with the channel had delivered results.
"With a growing market and an exciting product roadmap opening up even more opportunities, CPS has put the development of its channel network at the heart of its go-to-market strategy," she said.
