Entatech nabs five from Northamber to run Surrey base

Entatech has snaffled five former Northamber employees to get a new southern sales office in Leatherhead, Surrey, up and running.

The Shropshire-based distie threw open the doors at its new office this week, with former Northamber Microsoft business manager manager Dominic Hoskins heading up the operation as sales office manager.

Hoskins will be backed up by Stewart Honeywill, who joins as business development manager; product specialists Oliver Moorby and David Smith, who will concentrate on Fujitsu servers and storage; and Microsoft and open licensing specialist Dritan Smith.

Hoskins, who prior to stints at Northamber spent time at security firms PineApp and Panda, and before that e92plus, where he ran the Trend Micro business, said: “This is an exciting venture to be a part of. Not only have we been given a new and exciting challenge, but it’s also great to be part of the future of Entatech as a whole.

“We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the Head Office meeting the rest of the team and learning about the other vendors and wide product portfolio that Entatech distribute. We can’t wait to get stuck in and hope we can make the new office just as successful as the operations in Telford.”

Entatech VP Jon Atherton said the company was going from strength to strength, and following a recruitment drive in its sales and purchasing departments, which saw 10 new staff join the firm, and a £1m investment in its warehouse facility, greatly expanding capacity, believed the opening of a new location was a natural step for the distie.

“We’ve got a fantastic new team to support the establishment and growth of our new office and I’m confident that this is just one of many fantastic things to come for Entatech in 2013,” he said.
