Capacity boost for VanillaIP as surge towards cloud continues

VanillaIP, the UC cloud provider, is partnering with City Lifeline to help shore up its delivery capacity to service providers in the face of demanding growth.

The company provides hosted UC and IP trunking via a web-based management portal called Uboss.  It intends to take two racks in City Lifeline’s London-based datacentre.

David Dadds, managing director, VanillaIP, said it was experiencing “unprecedented growth” and needed to ensure it had enough capacity to support its launch into the United States.

Uboss, is offered as a SaaS model to customers all over the world and Dadds says there is no such thing as “off peak” hence the move to additional capacity. The agreement is for two years.

VanillaIP is a long established cloud and a technology supplier. City Lifeline is also an established London collocation data centre.
