WatchDox adds more oomph to Cloud Distribution mobility practice

Alex Scroxton

Cloud Distribution will be adding file sharing, synch, collaboration, editing, annotating and mobile productivity solutions from mobility provider WatchDox to its Enterprise Mobility stack in a move billed at enhancing channel sell-in options around highly regulated industries.

With customer IT departments putting pressure on employees to move away from consumer Dropbox-type file-sharing and mobile solutions for security reasons, WatchDox claims to provide the secure functionality that enterprises increasingly demand.

“Having recently established our EMEA headquarters in London, we sought a distribution partner in the UK … [and] with its rich IT security credentials and expertise in introducing new technologies to the market, Cloud Distribution was the obvious choice,” explained chief product officer Ryan Kalember.

Cloud director Adam Davison said: ”The need to deliver a secure enterprise mobility strategy is one of the most pressing issues that IT security teams are tackling today as mobile workforces are only set to grow.

“The addition of WatchDox means our Enterprise Mobility stack can deliver a complete solution for resellers to offer their end users, all of whom are striving to prevent data loss, mitigate security breaches and meet compliance regulations,” he continued.

Dave Henderson, sales director at mobility integrator Bluefort Security, added: “With WatchDox now part of Cloud Distribution’s portfolio, we can offer a complete, end-to-end secure mobile enterprise solution, from MDM, MAM, zero day malware protection right through to secure file share, edit and collaboration.”

Cloud’s Enterprise Mobility line-up also includes solutions from Aerohive, Meraki, Maas360, Lacoon Security and Watchful Software.
