Exclusive Networks CARM programme calms VAR security worries

Exclusive Networks has launched a channel initiative built around the aftermath of cyber attacks, enabling partners to explore the growing number of options available to support customers through post-breach clean-up.

Dubbed CARM (Cyber Attack Remediation and Mitigation), Exclusive reckons its new programme will dramatically shorten the “find-to-fix” period around live breaches, safeguard more digital assets, and bring down customer costs.

Launch vendor partners include Bit9, FireEye, Fortinet, Imperva, LogRhythm, Mandiant, Palo Alto Networks and Safenet.

Exclusive’s Barrie Desmond said that ever-increasing awareness of security breaches was forcing more businesses to consider the ultimate impact of an attack.

“Most have been in denial over this,” he suggested, “but the high cost of remediation and the devastating impact of plummeting public perception is in turn driving demand for post-breach solutions.”

The programme integrates for the first time Big Security messaging systems from critical point detection products, turning date into more actionable intelligence, delivered through LogRhythm’s single pane of glass solution as an automated platform that detects, validates, isolates, responds and remediates in seconds, claim the programme’s proponents.

LogRhythm’s VP and international markets managing director, Ross Brewer, commented: “The engineering intellect and drive that enabled this initiative to become a reality is further evidence that Exclusive Networks continues to raise the bar for performance in distribution through innovative and highly valuable programmes.
