ArrowSphere cloud platform to promote try-before-you-buy

Arrow has introduced a try-before-you-buy option to its cloud service to give channel partners the chance to give customers even more time to ensure they want to go ahead with signing of a subscription service before making a decision.

The distributor will start its offer on its ArrowSphere with Citrix GoToMeeting and GoToAssist products but is looking to extend other trial and promotions options into its cloud platform.

The aim of the scheme is not only to provide customers with some more time to get used to the solution but also for resellers to work out how the licensing and services would work once a trial ends the the subscription gets signed off.

Resellers will be able to take advantage of a “coupon code” feature which will highlight special offers and there is also the option for resellers to request specific quotes for hybrid-cloud projects or on-premise integrations.

The Citrix products are on also being offered as a promotion until the end of the month, with discounts on offer for those buying a handful of subscriptions in one order.

“The addition of trial options in ArrowSphere will give Citrix customers the opportunity to explore and enjoy the superior quality video-, audio- and screen-sharing capability of GoToMeeting before they buy," said said Richard Wolfe-Daimpre, senior director of strategic channels for the SaaS (software-as-a-service) division at Citrix.
