NetSuite, which specialises in cloud-based financial, ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, claims to have over 20,000 customers on its books and has been vocal in talking up its channel business – and knocking Brit rival Sage – as it seeks to capitalise on midmarket users upgrading client/server ERP systems.
It hopes its membership of the forum will help it further educate and inform end-users and partners alike on both best practices and industry trends.
“As one of the premier voices of the cloud computing industry in the UK, CIF works hard to improve end-user understanding of the cloud and raise standards in the industry. As such, it’s an organisation that we are very pleased to be associated with,” said NetSuite EMEA president and EVP of verticals Pete Daffern.
“At NetSuite we look forward to working closely with CIF and its members, towards a shared goal of building a trusted, transparent and fully sustainable industry.”
CIF CEO Alex Hilton added: “Concerns about cloud services remain, namely relating to data privacy and security, and it’s important that the industry works together to inspire trust in cloud services and address these concerns.
“NetSuite’s obvious commitment to its customers, professionalism and services make them a prime candidate for CIF membership, and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome them on board.”
