Intermedia has announced the ability for partners to integrate its Partner Portal with Salesforce and ConnectWide in order to grow their cloud services footprint without adding to their accounting and sales overheads.
The latest enhancement to the hosted cloud firm’s channel offering comes hot on the heels of a one third increase in partner rebates, announced last week.
Intermedia already offers hosted Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint, email archiving and a number of other services such as security. It says the addition of Salesforce and ConnectWise to this will help reseller streamline their workflows in addition to controlling their own pricing, bundling, branding and customer relationships.

“The integration of Salesforce and ConnectWise with our Partner Portal allows us to offer a more seamless business platform not only for partners, but administrators and end-users as well,” he added.
The integration of Salesforce will enable partners to sync customer account data between the Intermedia Partner Portal, sync Intermedia plan pricing with Salesforce, track product usage to highlight up- and cross-selling opportunities, and generate quotes quicker.
Integration with ConnectWise, meanwhile, offers partner advantages around billing processes and invoicing and service and product catalogue management.
