Healthcare business intelligence player Advanced Computer Software Group has extended its ability to deliver customer relationship management tools with the acquisition of ConsultCRM.
The purchase of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM practice is being described as a chance for Advanced to bolster its back office product portfolio and it will be rolled out to its customer base.
Advanced has been fairly busy on the acquisitions front trying to bolster its portfolio and snapped up Compass Computer Consultants in February andlast year picked up accounting software specialist Computer Software Holdings for £44m.
The terms of this latest deal have not been disclosed but it is not likely to be the last acquisition for a firm that is going through a buy and build strategy to enhance its position in the market.
Vin Murria, CEO of Advanced Computer Software Group, said that it was keen to get expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, which was seen globally as a leading CRM offering, and it would be a positive for its customer base.
“Significantly, the acquisition complements Advanced’s existing back office product portfolio, providing customers with a broader solution set and single point of supply. It strengthens Advanced’s CRM expertise and enables the group to provide a complete end-to-end solution in vertical markets such as the not-for-profit sector," she said.
ConsultCRM is based in Camberley, Surrey and is one of the top global CRM partners for Microsoft and the last couple of years has been awarded President Club status by the vendor.
