The move follows Vodafone’s decision to develop its channel strategy to increase the sale of converged technology products and services. Olive aims to use a range of Vodafone products and services across mobile, fixed telephony, data and cloud-based applications.
The partnership is based on Olive designing, delivering and supporting complex multi-product solutions in the enterprise market in parallel with Vodafone
From the Vodafone perspective, the partnership is designed to set a blueprint for the future in which it will put greater emphasis on indirect channel sales and the two companies will work to create and refine processes in order to improve offerings to customers and also scale out the initiative within Olive’s indirect channel.
Martin Flick, chief executive, Olive Communications said: "Our relationship with Vodafone and the support they have provided us with has already helped drive our growth plans. This extra support now takes us to the next level."
“During the past year our business strategy has started to yield significant results, and the joint initiative will now build upon that success... Vodafone... understands the industry and is keen to invest in a channel we both believe offers huge value to us and importantly for our end-user customers.”
The initiative aims to leverage Vodafone’s product and service portfolio and Olive’s managed service model as both companies drive towards converged technology and service delivery.
