Midwich has extended the products it carries by Canon after being given access to the vendor’s large format printer range.
The distributor already handles document scanners and the consumer imaging products and now adds the large format range that it aimed at both the general market and the CADand graphics markets.
Alex Ward, commercial director at Midwich, said that Canon had recognised that the IT market represented an untapped area for it to push these products.
The vendor has been developing its large format range to get into a position where it has products not just for the specialist customer base but also for general users.
Matthew Searle, UK director of the Canon Partner Channel, said that it was the right time to take the range through a wider reseller base, hence extending the products to Midwich.
