Postal service hit with new VAT regime

Well not to disappoint, the Government has now added VAT to certain postal services as of 31 January.

So whilst standard UK services are still VAT exempt, express, tracked and international services now attract VAT. It might seem obvious, but ensure that you reclaim any VAT you pay when using a VATable postal service.
