Over in the States, C2000 and Azlan-parent Tech Data has staked a claim on Cisco's upcoming Cius tablet, announcing it will make the device available to Cisco Advanced UC partners from the end of May.
Like so many others in the channel the distributor hopes to make a move on the mobility market and says it will be pitching the device at resellers looking to start a cloud computing practice, which can leverage the Cius as a thin-client to save on device count and costs.
Qualified lead campaigns, specialised assistance, dedicated Cisco sales and engineering resources and Solutions Centre demos are all naturally par for the course.
There's no word yet on distribution arrangements in the UK, but we must assume a similar announcement will be winging its way to us from the Cisco triumverate of Comstor, Azlan and Ingram before very much longer.
