By the time you read this who knows Sainsbury's might have launched its own tablet PC. Sounds odd but surely nothing is strange after Next and now Dixons announced products.
The iPad has proved that there is a real public appetite for tablets but the bandwagon has perhaps now got to the stage when things have become slightly amusing.
Just days after RIM announced a tablet its executives must have been fearing their launch would be overshadowed by Next and now with Dixons joining in the big brands must be quaking.
Except of course they won't be because quality will rise to the top and customers will look for brands they know and trust in the tech world. Next might be a good place to get a shirt but perhaps not a tablet?
