Microsoft has launched its latest salvo against Apple's iPad, extolling the virtues of Windows 7-based tablets to enterprise customers, according to some slides from a Microsoft presentation to reseller partners obtained by ZDNet.
Some unkind souls have pointed out that the potential of Windows 7 tablets is, at this moment in time, limitless given that there aren't actually any products available at the moment.
Anyway, that's beside the point although older heads might wonder if, yet again, users are being confronted with a choice between an existing product and Microsoft promiseware (we won't be so impolite as to call its vapourware) to delay purchasing decisions until the Windows 7 product arrives.
Whatever, surely the bigger talking point is that in one of the 'comparisons' between Windows 7 devices and the iPad, Microsoft states that "Windows supports the largest breath of Printing Hardware".
And there we were thinking it was all just hot air!!
