Avaya distributor Rocom is to collaborate with vendor
partners Avaya and New Media Software to run a series of vertically-focused
workshops to help resellers break into new markets.
The workshops will link resellers up with vendor strategists
and end-user vertical market experts, and will also include a free ‘campaign-in-a-box’
tool-kit. The first events - scheduled for later in the month - will cover the
education and legal sectors.
Rocom’s Avaya business unit head, Kevin Harrison said the
venture was prompted after resellers voiced concerns about needing help when it
came to generating new business opportunities in the current climate.
Avaya distribution account director Rob Wiles added: “Central
to the success of Intelligent Communications is understanding the challenges faced
by your customer; better vertical marketing skills help you understand, engage
and communicate the right solutions for their requirements.”
