Horizon equIP has become the
first UK
distributor to be awarded full training accreditation from application delivery
networking specialists F5 Networks.
Under the terms of the
accreditation, Horizon equIP – recently acquired by Avnet – will provide
training on F5’s BIG-IP platform and related software modules to its reseller
stable. BIG-IP training was previously only available direct from F5.
Horizon equIP technology business
unit director Laura Harman said: “[We] see training and skills transfer as
critical success factors in supporting F5’s market, which is rapidly gathering
pace.”
“This provides us with the opportunity to add further support, not only to our business partners,
but also to F5, allowing them to continue to scale their business,” Harman
added.
Resellers will also be able
to offer the training to their customers as a white-label service using Horizon
equIP’s Basingstoke training facility.
