SCC aquires French infrastructure specialist Ares

SCC has acquired the Ile de France region business of high end infrastructure business of Ares.

Around 130 staff with complementary skills in networking and high end enterprise product, service and solution expertise will be fully integrated immediately.

SCC already operates in France with a turnover of €1.1 billion and employs 2000 staff. 

In a statement, Sir Peter Rigby, SCC’s Chairman and CEO, said that it was prepared to make acquisitions even in a tough market.

“Even when others are focussing on the short term and are less prepared to make bold moves, I believe this industry demands you take a long term view of the market, your capabilities and your customers’ requirements,” he said.
