Juniper names Jones as CEO

Junpier has revealed that Microsoft veteran Kevin Jones is to pick up the reins as CEO from September with current incumbent Scott Kriens continuing his role as chairman.

 

During his 16 year tenure at Microsoft Jones held various executive roles most recently as president of the Platforms and Services division which has $20bn in revenues during fiscal year 2008.

 

In a statement to the market, Juniper founder and chief technology officer said Jones had a strong background in engineering, experience of helping business scale and leading companies through times of rapid growth.
