Application traffic management software vendor Zeus Technology has signed an OEM partnership agreement with Dublin-based AdaptiveMobile to sell its ZXTM software as part of Adaptive’s technology package for large mobile telcos.
Adaptive’s solutions are designed to protect mobile users from mobile viruses, malware, unsolicited texts and other inappropriate content. Steve Webb, vice-president of sales at Zeus Technology, said his company’s products fitted well into the overall offering.
"You can deploy us in many different ways, on blades, rack-mounted servers or virtualised environments," he explained.
"So Adaptive is getting a tool that can fit in any solution it cares to put together."
Zeus Technology’s existing enterprise customers include Play.com and the BBC.
Gareth Maclachlan, vice-president for products at AdaptiveMobile, said the addition of traffic management would help to boost take-up of mobile web applications among users.
