Vizioncore looks for UK growth

The market for virtualisation continues to sporn well beyond the VMware boundaries as other players look to exploit the growth in popularity for the technology in the SME market.

The latest to put itself in the shop window for UK resellers is US vendor VizionCore, which has appointed ex-Citrix regional director for sever virtualisation Roger Baskerville to head up its operations in EMEA.

Baskerville said that it was looking to not only tap into the growth in virtualisation in smaller companies but also wanted to recruit reseller partners.

He added that in the current economic climate anything that helped customers do more with less was obviously attractive.
